Welcome to
the Fundraising Section
The Group is privaliged to have a very active
and successful fundraising commitee and band of helpers. We
are currently raising money to replace our aging minibus as
well as for our ongoing comitments. The commitee organises
several fundraising events during the year including jumble
sales, wine and wisdom evenings and our Christmas and
Summer Fayres. They also have stalls at local events. In
addition, we have our ongoing fundraising activities such
as Scout Syndicate and the Recycling Scheme. Every
year just before Christmas, we run our Scout Post scheme for the
Whitstable area. People can can purchase stamps and
post their Christmas cards in our own boxes which are
available in local shops and businesses. We are very
grateful to these businesses who are involved in the
scheme. The cards are then delivered by the
fundraisers, friends, parents and the young people
themselves, all in good time for Christmas.
